i'd like to think i'll use this as a soundboard for my creative thoughts from my working days at Apple Print... so many ideas get lost in my mind that it would be great to at least document them even if i'm the only one that reads this darn thing!!
however... knowing me it will all boil down to generic and mundane babble... of which i see as no bad thing either and at least i'll amuse myself.
so... note-worthy pointers of la day:
- currently organising an 80s themed event to celebrate 25 years of Apple Print and collected the costumes and accessories today in a humungous box from our local party shop. of course... i had a good old root around to ensure everything was a) in there and b) all in working order before making the executive decision to leave it all in my car until a week before the event (Thurs 11 Aug by the way!)
- we work on client's websites every day without a problem, but i didn't realise how bloomin' hard getting your OWN website sorted is!! you question everything a ga-zillion times and still want to look at it again and again!! our brand new site will be launched at the 80s event... so there is a definitive end to all of this mayhem... and i managed to finish the first draft of the web copy today (to then go over again tomorrow - obviously) whilst colleagues began the coding of our agreed design. it's such an exciting yet frustrating project as it's incredibly hard being your own client!
- random discussion of the day... i verbally trialled my new invention of the 'ham-bag'... which would be marketed to girly women as a necessity to keep your ham fresh in the fridge (essentially an upmarket zipper bag)... not a great response... but i definitely think it has legs!!
